Luxurious spa treatments exceeded expectations.

I had an incredibly frustrating experience at the bar. The service was painfully slow, despite the fact that there were hardly any other guests. It felt like the staff didn’t care about their customers, which tarnished our overall stay. Such a contrast to previous visits where the service was excellent. I simply can't understand how this could happen in a place that prides itself on service.

The spa was exquisite, yet the kids' pool was closed during our stay.

Be sure to check the spa's hours and consider booking treatments in advance, as some are in high demand and can fill up quickly.

A Beautiful Getaway Despite Some Hiccups

We had a delightful family stay! The grounds offer a peaceful retreat, perfect for nature lovers. Our classic room was cozy, but some maintenance is needed. Dining in the Grande Ballroom was a highlight. Pro tip, arrive early at the pool for sunbeds!

The spa was superb, and the golf course was beautifully designed, providing an amazing challenge. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful tree-lined walkways that make for a serene stroll.

the palace is a true luxury experience. we loved the spacious superior double room with a huge bathroom and classy furniture. the spa was an oasis, featuring a large indoor and tropical outdoor pool. we enjoyed an amazing dining experience with live music and excellent regional dishes. the staff was genuinely friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

Unexpected gem in the gardens

Strolling through the lush gardens, I discovered a hidden pathway leading to a serene gazebo. The service was exceptional, and the spa treatments were a delightful escape.

We had a fantastic group vacation at this stunning hotel! We loved playing golf on the beautifully designed course and enjoyed the fantastic hiking routes. The spa and food were top-notch, and the staff were super attentive. We highly recommend getting a room with a view and definitely trying the spa treatments!

The only downside was that access to the indoor pool was granted to small children, which took away from the relaxing atmosphere we were hoping for during our spa time.

The Vidago Palace exudes elegance with its beautifully decorated interiors, grand ballroom, and lush gardens, making it a perfect retreat for relaxation and comfort, especially with its easy accessibility for seniors.

We spent an very nice two-night stay here, the tranquility of the gardens was just what we needed! The dining experience was great, especially the exquisite dinner, the flavors still linger in my mind.

It wasn’t exactly cheap, but you know what? It felt worth it.
