Luxurious spa treatments was great.
The service was painfully slow, despite the fact that there were hardly any other guests. It was like the staff didn't care about their customers, which tarnished our overall stay. Such a contrast to previous visits where the service was excellent. I can't understand how this could happen in a place that prides itself on service.

The location is in a great spot on the outskirts of the village. The atmosphere of the hotel is cosy. The units were clean and magnificent in perfect state with a wonderful shower.

It was very well redecorated and it looks like the old one that I knew when I was young, and went there with my parents. People is very nice and the service very good. Nice swimming pool and a very good gourmet restaurant.

I had a classic double room and it was terrific with a terrace and a lovely view over the fountain entrance, for instance.

I liked everything, the restoration of the hotel is five stars, as the original in which I lived for about one year in 1975/6, but better.

A Beautiful Getaway Despite Some Hiccups
We had a good family stay! The grounds offer a peaceful retreat, perfect for nature lovers. Our classic room was cozy, but some maintenance is needed. Dining in the Grande Ballroom was a highlight. Pro tip, arrive early at the pool for sunbeds!

Dinner was not good value.very very nouvelle cuisine! Bar was also very expensive. Although the suite we had was extremely plush, it was all electronic touch pads for drawing even the curtains and switching on the lights. This meant having a bright lighted touch pad at the side of the bed, which kept us from having a good nights sleep.

We love the majestic architecture of the building. Its true to the original concept of the 30s with a vibrant and contemporary look from the XXI century. The Spa is great with a fabulous hot outdoor pool!
The restaurant is to expensive for what they propose in the menu.
